Do you provide assistance with showers?

Our trained, caring staff are happy to assist residents with personal care, including showers.

What happens if I can no longer afford my accommodations?

If your budget changes, we will be happy to discuss your options with you. We offer accommodations at various price levels, and some residents choose to live with a roommate.

What if I don’t like the meal being served?

We offer an a la carte menu to suit a variety of tastes. At each meal, there are several options to choose from.

Do you schedule my appointments?

We assist residents with appointment scheduling and transportation arrangements.

What medical services do you offer?

We have an on-site physician and podiatrist, and we offer monthly orthopedic services. We also offer lab work, EKG, X-ray, and ultrasound in house. We work closely with several homecare and hospice agencies as well.

Do you have internet access?

Yes, we provide internet access for all residents.

Are pets allowed to visit?

Yes, pets may come for a visit if their shot records are on file in our office.

Do you provide transportation for residents?

We assist in scheduling local transportation options.

Mom has Dementia. When the time came for her to not live alone, knowing I was not the best caregiver option; it was time to look for a home for her. After visiting several places, I decided on Cambridge. Wanting to place her only once, I was assured when the time came for her to be moved from personal care to memory care, Cambridge’s memory unit would be an option for her. Mom lived five years in the personal care unit, and this summer the time came for additional care, and as promised a room was available.

Karen and her caring staff have given me peace of mind with mom’s care. They treat her with dignity. With this disease sometimes people are mistreated. I never worry about this here. I have come to know the staff and many residents and for mom and myself, Cambridge is a very good fit.

I would like to thank your staff at Cambridge for all you have done and are still doing for Uncle Sonny! He has told me that if he has a problem (health or otherwise) you guys are right there to help him with it. He was mad at me for a time because I didn’t have him move to Cambridge sooner as he now has friends, home-cooked meals, and don’t have to worry about messing up with his meds. That alone takes a lot of worry off his mind, and he is very content and happy that he knows he is safe and cared for. You may say it’s your job but you and your staff go the extra mile to make the residents as comfortable and happy as you can.

It’s unfortunate, but the day came that my Mother had to go to a home. This was due to Mom’s Dementia. She had dementia for several years and after my Father had passed Mom required additional care. When looking at Care Facility I wanted to make sure the facility was close in proximately so that I could continue to see my Mother and make her a regular part of daily routine.

My Mom has been at Cambridge since March of 2016, over three (3) years, in the Memory Care section. She has received very good care; the Staff at Cambridge are hard working and dedicated to the residents. They do take the time to care of the resident’s individual needs. They make sure Mom has good meals each day, she receives her meds daily and has clean clothes, but beyond that they try to make it feel like home.

I feel Cambridge is great place for your loved ones to live and would highly recommend it for anyone.

My mom and I moved to Cambridge a week and a half ago. I say we because where my momma is, is where my heart is. It was like the first day of school for both of us, except roles reversed. My legs shaking, her hands shaking, we walked in. From the second we walked in, our fears eased. The staff got us settled in and a welcoming visit from Beth (the administrator). They found us our seats on the couch and in the dining room. And later that night when I called to check on her, the staff was happy to check on her and report she was sound asleep.

My mom was a teacher’s aide, church lady, deli worker and eucharistic minister. She has always been a care taker for the community (which for me always meant us to be the last to leave church). It is nice to see HER smile and be well cared for.

Thank you staff and residents of Cambridge!! We love you already.
